Oprah The Heat Is On

Seems nothing is going right for Oprah of late. Oprah who is well known for her philanthropic gestures may have gone too far in trusting a woman whom she took off the streets and tried to help. Not only did the young lady in question not recover, despite Oprah paying all costs at a drug rehabilitation centre, she trashed one of Oprah's homes and then stole Oprah's private journal. Poor Oprah is now desperate to get the journal back all one can say is good luck girl!

But Oprah's woes don't end there, in a stroke of lying luck, Oprah showcased the book 'A Million Little Pieces' written by James Frey, perhaps he should have re-titled it, ' A Million Lying Pieces'. Though at the time Oprah had no idea that James Frey's book was little more than a case of 'faction', she did include it in her 'Oprah Book Club' which sent the sales of the book soaring.

So it is no surprise that upon discovering the lie, Oprah was one very unhappy lady. She invited the hapless James Frey back to her show in order to explain to all his duplicity in lying to millions in order to make millions. What can one say the guy is a charlatan; he has made his money as Oprah pans his butt!

Oprah though is one tough lady and she will overcome the adversities she now faces. As for her missing journal, some of us out here do have scruples; if it is published I for one will not be buying it or buying into yet another lie!

Princess Diana-Murder or Accident?

There has been speculation in these past few weeks, that the father of Dodi, Mohammad al Fayed is not the nutter that many presumed and that there may actually be some substance to his long held belief that the British Secret Service had a hand in the death of Princess Diana and Dodi.

It is now fact that Paul Henri the driver of the car, was in the pay of MI6, not only because of his sons romance with Diana but because of Mr. Fayed's corruption in bribing certain British politicians. This is one of the reasons that Mohammad al Fayed is not well liked within the British establishment, in that he was the catalyst that led to the defeat of the Torie Party and in Labor finally gaining power in England!

Mr Fayed has alleged for many years now that he believes that Prince Philip himself is personally involved in the death of his son and the beautiful Princess. That it was Prince Philip who could not countenance an involvement between the mother of the future King and a Muslim, therefore in Mohammad’s al Fayed's opinion it is Prince Philip who ordered the death of Dodi and his former daughter in law the late Princess Diana.

It is indeed strange that Princess Diana stayed in the ambulance for an hour or more before finally being transported to a hospital. It is also very weird that the ambulance drove past several hospitals before arriving at Paris' Pitie Salpetriere hospital. And once the Princess was declared dead, after the doctors had tried their best to save her life, it defies logic as to why they immediately embalmed the body of the dead Princess. Because of this action it is now impossible for any forensic scientist to re-examine her body, yet it is British law that if a citizen dies overseas that the body will be examined by the coroner upon returning to Britain.

There are many things with the death of the Princess that one cannot explain, many discrepancies and a major cover up. For in the tunnel where the accident occurred, why was the video turned around to face the wall, therefore making it impossible to view what really happened in the tunnel of death.

So many questions let's hope one day we will all know the answer.

As the Danish Royal family ready themselves for the Baptism of the new Royal grandson, there is speculation whether Crown Princess Mary will want to follow tradition and name her son Prince Christian. As her husband is Crown Prince Frederik tradition stipulates that the next heir to the throne should be named Christian. We shall have to wait and see.

Both Prince Frederik and Mary look like marriage suits them as Mary has the new mother glow to her features and Frederik is beaming as a proud father should. Let's hope for this Royal couple their marriage will be blessed with more children and that they can persevere through any difficulties.

I do applaud the Norwegian Royal family for the loving acceptance of Crown Princess Mette Marit, both Prince Haakon and Mette seem so happy as they escorted their daughter, Princess Ingrid to school. Let's hope that this marriage too will last the distance.

It was also very heartwarming to see the lovely Princess Masako take to the Royal balcony. It has been a well known fact that Masako has been suffering from severe depression for quite some time, which deeply concerned her husband. It is time for the Japanese Royal family to join the twenty first century rather than try and live their lives as if they were stuck in the medieval ages! Keep strong Princess Masako!

Sarah-Surviving the Odds

Prince Philip may loathe her, the Queen may tolerate her, but there is no denying that Sarah, Duchess of York is a survivor!

Love or loathe the Duchess one can only admire her tenacity at pulling herself up by her Manolo Blahnik boot straps. Her former husband, the Duke of York still seems to be enthralled by his ex-wife so much so that no new wife ever seems to be on the horizon.

Though the Duchess made some catastrophic mistakes in her Royal life, she was able to rise above the tabloid frenzy and ventured forth to far horizons namely, America!

But Sarah never let despair destroy her even when the odds seemed stacked against her this Royal renegade never admitted defeat, she truly has lived her motto, 'through adversity comes happiness'.

In her memoirs the Duchess exposes her past and her many mistakes, but one can forgive someone who lives their life with the need to explain all her foibles to anyone who will listen. But the mistakes the Duchess made were not totally her fault. For instance the pics for a famous magazine was not her idea, but was the brain child of her former husband Prince Andrew, this though was never explained as the Duchess took the fire for it. The same goes for her overseas tour of Australia and her leaving Princess Beatrice behind, this was also a decision made by her former husband!

Then there was her friendship with Princess Diana, who let her down badly. Sarah out of the both of them was the more loyal friend, unfortunately Princess Diana could be ruthless when protecting her own territory. So it came as a shock to the Duchess when both she and the Princess conspired to leave their husbands at the same time. Unfortunately for Sarah, her friend Diana failed to fulfil her part of the bargain at the time and so it was 'the Knives are out for Fergie'!

Unfortunately for Sarah this was one headline that was true, and I am sure that the frail Duchess removed each knife before falling into a medicated sleep, as stress tore at her mental and emotional fragility. But Sarah once again trusted the wrong people as she embraced one 'new age guru' after another, all of whom blabbed to the press!

Despite the hurtful headlines the 'Duchess of Pork' the 'Duchess of Do-little' Sarah rose above the odds of the many that had discarded her as irrelevant, and made a name for herself and a successful career. So Go Sarah Go!

But one thing, Sarah, The Duchess of York will never re-marry, as it would mean giving up her title and becoming plain Mrs Sarah ordinary citizen!

Keep sipping that champagne Sarah as you throw darts at an image of the Duke of Edinburgh, one day you will hit the bull’s eye!

Royal Baby Boom

Seems the year just ended was an extravaganza of the Royal baby boomers, many of the Royal houses of Europe are enjoying the new arrivals in their families.

Princess Maxima of Holland gave birth to her second daughter in June, now Princess Alexia will join her Sister Princess Catharina, both Crown Prince Willem Alexander and Princess Maxima are overjoyed, with their lovely family.

Princess Mary of Denmark and her husband Crown Prince Frederick are also overjoyed with the birth of their baby son, who is yet unnamed. Both parents have said they intend to be 'hands on parents' and though they have hired a nanny it is merely to supervise their child while they undergo their royal duties.

It is also a breath of fresh air that Princess Mette Marit, who was a single mother before marrying Crown Prince Haakon, has added a new addition to their growing family. The couple looks truly devoted to each other as Mette is accepted by the family without censure. Let's hope that all goes well for this royal couple.

The Spanish Royals have also been busy with both Infanta Elena and Infanta Christina are both mothers and now Princess Letizia has given birth to her and Crown Prince Felipes baby daughter who they have named Princess Leonor. Princess Letizia is truly a beautiful woman but let us hope that she does not fall prey to the insecurities of the late Princess Diana, as Princess Letizia had lost a great deal of weight in the run up to her wedding to Prince Felipe.

As for the British Royal family there was speculation that the Countess of Wessex was once again pregnant with her and Edwards’s second child but this was denied by Buckingham Palace. There have been very few photos of Lady Louise Mountbatten Windsor, which is a shame unless of course both the Earl and Countess wish a more private life for their royal offspring.

Seems the war between the two 'B's' has reignited once again and is being played out not only in the court rooms but also the scandal sheets.

C'mon you two what's more important the happiness and wellbeing of your daughter Ireland, or your ego's? Once the dust has settled and Ireland grows up to independence she will despise you both in that the hate shared between the parents, Alec and Kim was stronger than their love for her!

Noone said divorce was easy, but it's not supposed to be torturous either, the big loser in the battle of the 'B's' is Ireland. Both parents should be ashamed that they have allowed their vitriol to spill out to the detriment of their daughter!

You're both lucky I am not the presiding judge, for if it were my decision I would deny custody to both parents and place Ireland with a couple who are able to love her more than they love themselves!

Now that the Christmas season is over, let's take a look at what the ladies wore.

I have to say that the Queen has spruced up her fashion sense lately and looked quite stylish, the smokey peach colour suited her.

The Duchess of Cornwall looked good in powder blue but I am not to sure about the big hats, what's the deal with all these big hats lately?

The Countess of Wessex looked fine dressed in pink, but what is she planning to do with her hair? It is way too fine to leave it long. Sophie have it cut!

Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie both looked good though a little shy at the attention, but I have to say what on earth did Princess Beatrice have on her head a chamber pot?

I didn't include the men they all wore suits zzzz!

The controversial movie 'Brokeback Mountain' will bomb at the box office but gather a plethora of Oscar Nominations.

Russel Crowe will once again be nominated at the Oscars for his fine performance in 'Cinderella Man' (silly name for a movie), as he isnt American and already has one Oscar he wont win, though he deserves it!

Jennifer Aniston will not marry Vince Vaughn, they will go their seperate ways in 2006 but remain friends.

Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie will marry but it wont last, stay tuned for the divorce!

Oprah and Gayle will come out of the closet and confess they both wear Chanel!

Joan Rivers will have one more face lift Woah! Skeery thought anymore face lifts and she will start talkin from the back of her head!

Paris Hilton will make a profound comment, then take to her bed with a migraine!

O J Simpson finally admits his guilt...ok thats not a prediction that would be a MIRACLE!

Sarah, Duchess of York will not marry this year or any other year as it would mean becoming an ordinary 'Mrs'!

Sophies Choice

The introduction of Sophie Rhys Jones into the rather claustrophobic world of the Royal family may be the fresh air they need.

Sophie seems to have the common sense lacking in the previous Duchess of York and is not consumed by the vulnerabilities of the late Princess of Wales.

She also seems to have struck just the right chord with her rather austere mother in Law her Majesty the Queen, and also won the admiration of her caustic Father in Law the Duke of Edinburgh, quite an achievement for the girl from Brenchley.

One also has to admire Sophie's courage in her longing for a family even if it puts her own health at risk, which was the case with two of her pregnancies. One pregnancy unfortunately for both Sophie and Edward was an ecoptic pregnancy and the other nearly cost Sophie her life! Though all ended well with the birth of their beloved daughter, Lady Louise Mountbatten Windsor.

It seems out of the three Windsor men, it is Edward's marriage that may succeed where both Charles and Andrew failed. This is due to Sophie’s common sense factor and her willingness to embrace the Royal lifestyle without needing to be the centre of attention.

The Countess of Wessex is also not overly concerned with her image, though she dresses well, she also will not allow herself to be a slave to fashion. Sophie also hasn’t fallen into the 'perfect figure syndrome' that helped make both the Duchess of York and the Princess of Wales, so unhappy and open to neurosis.

Sophie seems to have the confidence that her former sister in laws lacked and that is probably due to her husbands love and acceptance of her as a unique woman who is essential to his happiness. Prince Edward may have learned some valuable lessons from his brother’s disastrous marriages and that of his sister Anne, in that he supports Sophie in all she does and the same goes for Sophie who supports Edward in his enterprises.

They seem to be a couple who are happy in their domestic arrangements and their daughter is the centre of their lives as they live out the domestic bliss that Charles and Andrew missed out on.

Unlike the failed marriage of Charles, Andrew and Anne, it seems Sophie and Edward are traveling the same path, and in the right direction.

Let us hope that all continues to go well for the future life of Their Royal Highnesses The Count and Countess of Wessex.

Camilla and Sophie-Royal Rivals?

Could there by further problems for the Windsor family as it seems that Camilla and Sophie dont seem to be getting along all that well. It is well known that Prince Charles is not overly fond of his youngest brother Edward, especially when he was caught snooping into Prince Williams life at University. Prince Charles was rightfully outraged that other media avenues had respected his request to allow William his privacy, but not his brother Edward, who filmed the young Prince while he was unawares.

Perhaps this has soured relations between the Duchess and the Countess as both compete to be seen as the Queens favourite daughter in law. Sophie seems to have the edge as she has caused very little scandal within the royal family so long as one discouts her 'true confessions with the fake Sheik'!

There may also be a bit of snobbery in that Camilla comes from Aristrocatric stock most notably her Grandmother Alice Keppel, while Sophie is of much more humble origins, solidly middle class.

One wonders why Camilla feels so insecure with the Queen as both women love country life and all that goes with it, hunting, shooting and fishing. They also share a love of dogs and other country pursuits, neither woman is intellectual or overly concerned with the arts. Yet there doesnt seem to be a common ground between the Duchess and the Queen.

Whereas Sophie has found a niche for herself within the Queens affections, and Prince Philip is also fond of his daughter in law, who is much different from his previous in laws!

But one thing is certain for Camilla she will oneday be Queen, something that Sophie will never attain. Let us hope that these two women from vastly different backgrounds can make some sort of truce rather than allow their animosity to turn into another royal farce!

A Royal Christmas

The Royal family enjoyed a typical Christmas, as the Queen in her speech reflected on the past year and some of the traumas and tragedies that happened.

Camilla joined the Royals at the usual Christmas service, and seemed to be at ease with the family and the crowds. Both Prince's William and Harry have accepted her as essential to their father’s happiness, and it seems by the more relaxed look and attitude shown by Prince Charles that Camilla is good for him.

Though, not all is well within the family circle as apparently Camilla and Sophie the Countess of Wessex do not get along. Camilla see's Sophie as a threat to her own position as second lady of the land, and also Sophie's influence with the Queen, annoys The Duchess of Cornwall.

The Queen also looked very glamorous this Christmas, as she collected flowers from well wishers after the Christmas Service.

Let us look forward to a new Royal year which hopefully will provide some brighter moments than previous years.

Oprah & Steadman Who?

Poor Oprah first she loses all that weight when Steadman became unhappy with her size, now he is allegedly writing his own 'tell all book' on the 'real' Oprah!

Seems Steadman is upset over Oprahs friendship with her long time best friend Gayle King, has he been wearing shades for the past 20 years?

One has to admire a woman who rose from nothing to the top, and never forgot her friends once she reached the top, that kinda makes me think Oprah is one classy lady.

So whats up with Steadmans gripes, that she won't become his wife? That's her choice if he doesn't like it then surely he knows the way to the door by now, or does the butler need to open it for him!

This is a man that needs to learn not to bite the hand that has been feeding him, after all it is Oprah who is world famous and who also puts her money where her heart is.

Oprah has helped many charities and in a personal and private manner she is helping some victims of Hurricane Katrina to restart their lives. Her television program 'Oprah' continually thrives as she focusses on the positives and also the more thought provoking aspects of the society we live in. And now that she has launched her magazine 'O' that too is also thriving with thoughtful and deeply meaningful pieces of how to make the world a better place to live in for all.

So Oprah has been close to her best friend Gayle for years, so why the sour grapes and at this particular time? This is a woman who has risen to the top by sheer hard work and self belief and if Steadman thinks he can trash her by revealing her 'secrets' well guess what, we ALL have our secrets!

When it comes down to it many will always love and admire Oprah and her achievements, and we will also wish her well in all that she strives to do.

Though she is struggling to save her troubled relationship with Danny Moder the father of her twins, it seems her marriage like many in Hollywood is bound for the divorce courts!

But is this an excuse that a woman who's fortune is estimated at over 300 million dollars has no idea that her own mother who is now 71 years old is being forced back to the work place?

Even though Julia's mother has had her own health scares, because of growing medical costs she has been forced back to work in order to pay her bills.

C'mon Julia get beyond your self absorbtion and help your mother, who seems to be in dire need of not only money but some love wouldnt go astray either. And for that matter where is Eric when his mother needs him?

Camillas First Royal Christmas

The Duchess of Cornwall gets to spend her first Royal Christmas at the side of her husband Prince Charles. No longer do they have to sneak around but can openly share this day of celebration and worship together.

The Royal family follows the Christmas tradition set by Queen Alexandra and open their Christmas presents on Christmas Eve rather than Christmas day.
I am sure that Camilla will join in with the festivities as many members help the Queen in last minute Christmas tree decorations. There are so many presents that many are left on a long table to be given out by the Queen, though the Royal family is not known for their generosity, one year Prince Charles gave his sister a door mat!

The family gathers at the Queens home, Sandringham, where they cozily sit around the warm fire for tea at 5PM and enjoy scoffing into scones, sandwiches and cakes with the Queens special blend of coffee and tea. One could say that it is definitely a case of having one's Royal cake and eating it too!

After the tea, many ladies prefer a little rest, before they ready themselves for the main dinner party. Where men must wear black tie and the women dress in their best, royal jewels included, does this mean that Zara Phillips can choose a diamond stud in her tongue rather than a Royal Tiara!

But though it is Camilla's first Christmas she will not stay the entire weekend in that she will leave late in the afternoon of Christmas day to spend time with her two children, Laura and Tom from her previous marriage.

But will Prince's William and Harry be allowed to invite their latest girlfriends....stay tuned!

Charles and Diana-Anatomy of a Royal Marriage

The marriage of Prince Charles to Lady Diana Spencer was always going to be a disaster, in that Lady Diana was simply too young and naive to understand the full impact of what she had led herself in for.

Whereas Prince Charles though he seemed proud of her in the beginning, he soon came to resent being relegated as her 'flower holder'. There marriage soon became a publicity war which would destroy one life and affect others with profound consequences.

None can truly lay all the blame at the Prince's door in that he could not guess that Lady Diana was emotionally needy, and highly strung.

And though both entered the marriage with high ideals and expectations of each other, both would find themselves disappointed. For from the beginning of their relationship Lady Diana had led Charles to believe that she loved the country and all that goes with it, hunting, fishing and shooting. And Prince Charles from the beginning had no intention of giving up the real love of his life, which was Camilla Parker Bowles.

So in truth both couples entered the marriage with a lie, which would then be followed by deceit, betrayal and infidelities on both sides, which would have devastating consequences not only on them but also on their children, Princes William and Harry.

Prince Charles did not by all accounts enjoy a tremendously happy childhood, he was forced by his father to attend a school he hated and where he was severely bullied, by his fellow students at Gordonstoun. Upon gaining his independence he vowed then never to allow anyone to bully him again. The Queen was also a rather distant mother who failed to give Charles the nurturing he needed and the affection he longed for. This lack of emotional stability from his parents will always affect Prince Charles own psyche.

The same could be said of Lady Diana, in that her mother after enduring domestic abuse from her husband Johnny Spencer decided she could take no more and so Diana's mother, Frances found love elsewhere. In upper crust Aristocratic circles, divorce was still seen as a disgrace, therefore Frances Spencer found herself abandoned even by her own mother, Lady Fermoy. So once the divorce went through, Frances after a long and bitter fight with her ex husband lost custody of her children. One of the prime instigators of Frances losing custody of her children was the testimony of her own mother, Lady Fermoy who backed Johnny Spencer. This decision still reverberates through the Spencer family.

Lady Diana though only a child must have sensed intuitively the hidden anger, rage and hurt that both her father and mother had endured, while they fought out their differences in a court of law. This led Lady Diana on a course that would bring untold tragedy to her and her future. For Lady Diana had decided as a child that she would never ever get a divorce, but the only way to prevent one was to try and 'control' her husband. Princess Diana began to believe that the only way her marriage would succeed was if she were in total control even to bullying her husband by demanding he do only the things that she enjoyed, this was a recipe for disaster.

It wouldn’t be long before Prince Charles began to feel stifled, through Diana's demands that he spend all his time at her side, even to giving up many of his royal duties.

But to be fair, Princess Diana was a very young 19 when she married her Prince, while Charles was a sophisticated and worldly man of the world who had always kept Camilla as his mistress. This would have brought untold humiliation to the young Princess in that all her inner circle knew about the affair and even members of the Royal family not only encouraged it they openly supported Charles dalliance with Camilla.

It is reasonable to say that Princess Diana felt and was indeed betrayed by many members of the Royal family. And even her own family failed to give her the support she needed, as her brother refused to house Diana on his estate at Althorp, which she would have used as a sanctuary against the ever prying press!

The marriage may have stood a chance if Princess Diana had made some concessions to Prince Charles love of the outdoors and the country scene rather than try and bully him into becoming a 'city slicker'! But Prince Charles also should have made his own sacrifices that of letting go of his long-term relationship with Camilla. But as it is neither side would compromise, this led to their downfall, as their marriage disintegrated into press fodder.

And just as Princess Diana had tried to control and bully her husband, she also took this approach with the press with dire consequences.

Both Charles and Diana were lacking in the same areas therefore how they could give each other what they both longed for, unconditional love and emotional security.

Princess Diana sadly was not to find the love that she so desperately longed for..as her life ended so tragically in the city of love, Paris.

Let us hope that Prince Charles will finally find happiness in the arms of his now wife, The Duchess of Cornwall.

Queen Beatrix Celebrates 25 Years as Monarch

Congratulations to Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands, as she celebrates 25 years as Reigning Monarch.

This decade has been difficult for the Queen, especially the illness suffered by her now deceased husband, Prince Claus, as he endured long years of severe depression.

But not all is doom and gloom, and Queen Beatrix has been overjoyed with the arrival of her grandchildren.

The Crown Princess Maxima, who is married to Crown Prince Willem, has also been making a splash in the news with her sense of fashion and care free air.

It's great to see this wonderful gal finally DO something about her weight problem. Not only that, but the courage she is showing by sharing her problems on a world wide scale, that IS really something!

I take my hat off to her and hope all those who made fun of her weight problem will gain a few extra poundage themselves.

But the best payback is to simply be happy in one's own life, and Kirstie finally seems to have gained inner happiness and regained her zest for life.

But remember girlfriend men like the curves!

Princess Diana-Her Troubled Life

What was it about Princess Diana that touched so many hearts and led to a well pool of grief when she died so tragically at only 36 years of age.

Was it that she lived her life so publicly giving the illusion of being able to see within her soul, yet her friends say she could be secretive.

Some say it was her air of innocence and vulnerability which made both men and women wish to protect her from life’s hurts, yet her friends and family say she could be manipulative to a high degree.

There have been many beautiful women who have graced the planet, yet it is Princess Diana who gained world wide adulation of epic proportions. One can think of Audrey Hepburn, Princess Grace or Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, none of whom had the extent of mass adulation enjoyed or endured by Princess Diana.

Was it that many people understood that Princess Diana upon marrying Prince Charles found herself plunged into a very sophisticated world of which she had no means of coping with. For unlike Prince Charles or his then mistress Mrs. Camilla Parker Bowles, both of whom were in their 30's and had lived life to the full, Princess Diana was a very young and naive 19 years old when she became engaged to the Prince.
And as the young Princess Diana became loved and admired by a growing number of people around the world her husband became more and more discontented that no one wanted to hear his latest speech on vegetable fertilizer!

And though the world wanted this marriage of Prince Charles to his young bride to be a modern romance that could have set the world on fire, instead it blazed as an inferno within the marriage itself which would consume and destroy it.
Yet the first salvo was fired by the Prince Charles 'set' when in a popular magazine Princess Diana was described as a 'bully' as 'hysterical' and was 'controlling and manipulative'. That it was Diana and not Charles who was destroying their marriage by her volatile and unpredictable behavior towards her beleaguered and confused husband. Many papers also ran with this story and described Princess Diana as a 'mad woman bent on destroying her marriage', and as 'the mouse that roared' so was it unpredictable that Princess Diana would be smart enough to know where the leaks of her private life were coming from?

So we then we became riveted spectator's to the 'War of the Wales' when Diana also launched her own 'salvo's' at the Prince Charles 'set'. This would become a no win situation for all concerned but most especially for the children of both the Prince and Princess and also the children of the Parker Bowles.

It is a tragedy that Prince Charles upon the advice of his then mistress Mrs. Parker Bowles, decided to marry 'the mouse' as Camilla had described Lady Diana Spencer, when she was not old enough to grasp the implications and complications of becoming the wife to the Prince of Wales when he had no intention of leaving his beloved Camilla, and as Diana said in 'that' famous interview, 'there were three of us in this marriage, so it was a bit crowded.'

Princess Diana upon marrying Charles may have gained a Title but it was Camilla who kept the Prince's heart and Diana became an inconvenient woman at the centre of this royal ménage a trios! An arrangement which unsettled the young Princess as she tried using all the wrong weapons to win the heart of her husband who in the end had come to resent her.

And as Princess Diana gained the love and adulation of the world, she lost the love that mattered most to her, her errant and unfaithful husband.

As we have learnt Princess Diana was no angel, but neither was she a monster, she made her own mistakes within her empty marriage. But though these mistakes harmed her deeply she was not as has been reported, mentally unstable, in that there are no records of mental disturbance in her youth or her work as a nanny before she married into the Royal family.

The life of Princess Diana proved too many that though the institution of the Monarchy has lasted hundreds of years, the lifestyle of what was acceptable to the Edwardians, would not be acceptable in the twenty first century. In that modern women including Princesses wanted more than an empty title, they needed a fulfilling role in life and a supportive partner.

Unfortunately for the Princess, Diana was never able to find personal happiness while she lived, let us hope she has gained the peace and love she so craved, when she left this world, so unexpectedly.

Charles and Camilla-Snooping In Their Home

Let's take a sneek peak into the private home of the Prince of Wales and his wife The Duchess of Cornwall. There is nothing better than to snoop without fear of getting caught into the homes of the rich and famous.

And in the case of Charles and Camilla they are very rich and very famous, or should that be infamous concerning one of them lol!

I must say I am impressed, and my favourite room would have to be what is termed the 'garden room', such fancy terms for a living room lol!

But who am I to begrude a couple their luxuries, in fact who am I to begrudge them anything. Let them have their happiness, it came at a cost, but after all neither you or I have to pay the price.

But beware of the corgi's I hear they are not toilet trained, but what's a bit of a puddle between Majesty and her Heir.

On a recent survery 98% of men said they preferred women with curves in favour of the usual stick thin models.

When asked what movie star had the best figure, the majority of men chose Kate Winslet. So curvy Kate rated better than Kate Moss, Victoria Beckam and Calista Flockhart.

So girls DO eat that extra remaining piece of chocolate with no guilt attatched.

Hmm who does make the best chocolate? Belgium or Switzerland?

Remembering The Queen Mother

The Queen Mother had been referred to as 'the most dangerous woman in Europe' and this from one of the most insane men in history, Adolf Hitler. She has also been referred as 'the Nations Grandmother' but was the Queen Mother all sweetness and light or is there a darker side to this woman of few words?

After all it was mainly at her insistence that Wallis Simpson be denied the official HRH before her title, which embittered both the Duke and Duchess of Windsor for the rest of their lives.

But in an age where good manners and common courtesy no longer exist, the Queen Mother epitomises these very virtues.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother, was not the sugar plum fairy that many sycophants would like to convey. She was a woman of character, with a twist of lemon, and it is this quality that makes her more interesting.

Things Are Looking Up For Camilla

Seems after much muttering and meanderings, the Queen has finally accepted Camilla into her family.

The Duchess of Cornwall has finally received her official tiara, which is the gift of the Queen. This particular tiara was worn by both Queen Mary and Queen Elizabeth the Queen Mother.

It suits the Duchess much better than the awful poison pen quill hat concoction which she wore at her wedding to Prince Charles.

Will anyone ever forget that 'hat'?
